Yellow Journalism
Marigold’s Making Headlines

‍
Marigold? She’s making headlines. And frankly, with so much of the news being dismal, she’s a break in the clouds—a bright spot.
‍
Yellow journalism, or sensationalized reporting that favors eye-catching headlines and drama over nuance and restraint, feels sadly like the norm these days. At CBC, we’re flipping the definition on its head and focusing instead on yellower pastures.
‍
Yellow is the perfect color to bridge the seasons. Pair her with chocolate? Well, there’s a reason banana splits are so beloved. Chef’s kiss.
‍
This fall, I’m craving all things butter and brown. Ralph Lauren’s wool and shearling coat? She could be the entire fall wardrobe. Imagine her with a 3/4-sleeve chocolate brown sweater à la Massimo Dutti or with a chocolate crewneck.
‍
I’m dreaming of all things Guest in Residence. Gigi’s really nailed the newest drop. No surprise there. Her buttery cashmeres? Melt-in-your-mouth gorgeous. Paired with GIR’s caramel plaids and bombers? Divine. I want one of each…
‍
So this season? Yellow journalism? We’re reading it cover to cover.
