On the Fringe of Fall
Summer is quietly setting, and on the fringe of fall, I’m leaning in. To fringe, that is.
Nothing says summer like soft fringe blowing in the breeze. Better yet? Fringe moves flawlessly into fall, too. Girl math: two for the price of one.
Fringe is the way to add a dose of personality to your uniform rotation. Think fringed bags with tanks and denim, fringed tops layered over straight-leg jeans, or, better yet, fringed mules with a blazer, tank, and cropped denim.
Ulla Johnson’s ivory fringed set? Chef’s kiss. The top, by itself, with denim? Perfection, too. The skirt with a simple white tank? I’m loving Gap’s Modern Crewneck Tank, and the price can’t be beat. Paired with caramel-colored accessories à la Gianvito Rossi and Eden Presley? It’s a milk-drenched latte to go, and oh, how I want to order it… Better than pumpkin spice any day.
Speaking of fringe? No one does fringe like Taller Marmo. The Atlas blouse in caramel is divine. Notice the coffee theme… Paired with Givenchy’s Cookie Monster-esque fringed raffia mules? Perfection. I mean, seriously, what isn’t better paired with Cookie Monster mules? That’s right—absolutely nothing. And what’s Summer Set without a hit of persimmon? Enter De La Vali’s La Isla Palma chiffon cape and top. De La Vali? Insane. I’m obsessed. They are doing everything—and I mean everything—right. The Agapito ruched maxi skirt in taupe—she’s in my bag. But the persimmon Moda Operandi exclusive top? They had me at cape. Don’t even get me started on the color. Paired with Toteme’s orange croc-effect leather flip-flops? I can’t. Perfect with straight-leg denim. Add Mélisse’s Rose Bud embroidered moire bag.
