The Daily Wellness Evolution
Daily wellness—tantamount to a healthy lifestyle—but frankly, I dread it.
I’ve spent years collecting personal trainers, Pilates instructors, and workout programs. I enjoyed approximately none of them.
Over the last couple of years, I’ve incorporated daily walks into my routine, aiming for 8,000 to 10,000 steps. The walks? Cathartic stress relief. If the day is too much, I throw on a pair of sneakers, up my SPF, and hit the pavement—instant anxiety elixir.
While I genuinely enjoy my daily, or near-daily, walks, it was time to add a more focused strength-training approach. Enter PVolve.
The straw that broke the camel’s back? Lauryn Bosstick’s PVolve collaboration. I had been thinking about PVolve since last year, but the moment I saw the beautiful French Blue, I was hooked.
It arrived a couple of weeks ago, and since then, I’ve slowly begun incorporating PVolve into my routine. And I do mean slowly. The beginner workouts run about 25 minutes. I’m currently up to 18 minutes and counting. Some days, I’ve made it six minutes before needing a break and starting again.
But I’m getting there.
And the surprising part? I genuinely enjoy it.
PVolve is challenging, but I can feel it working. My core feels activated and engaged, even after my less-than-perfect attempts.
And consistency? That’s half the battle.
The French Blue? Très chic.
