Their new bag collection? It’s speaking my language. Canvas, linen, leather, suede, crochet and macramé: Prada features a delectable mix of pouches, east-west silhouettes, and casual totes. It’s difficult to pick a favorite—though the distressed Bonnie linen and leather bag and the cocoa brown suede and crochet tote bag are top contenders. Chef’s kiss.

Their accessories game? Top-notch. The raffia baseball cap? I swoon. What shorts outfit wouldn’t benefit from it? The polka-dot marocain silk scarf in sand and red? I can picture it tied jauntily on the Bonnie bag or looped around the neckline of an ivory cashmere sweater—be it Prada or Guest in Residence.

The denim blouson jacket with its suede-finished collar? I’m eyeing her. She’d pair beautifully with crisp white cutoffs or boyfriend jeans.

And therein lies the beauty of Prada’s lexicon. Each piece speaks fluently within the collection, but, more importantly, every piece, even the accessories, has a voice of its own. Each piece stands alone and still translates. Together, they become a language.
