Three Olives In | Loden Green

Loden—she’s a dark horse in the race, but quietly one of my favorites.
Not emerald, not mint—neither loud nor shrinking. She’s jewel-toned.
A deep, rich, mossy green—the color of the forest floor at dusk.
She’s the neutral you didn’t know you needed… until now.

Three olives in—she’s an ode to us filthy-dirty martini girls, the best kind, bien sûr.

A loden bomber? Trust her. She’ll never let you down—especially paired with a boyfriend or barrel-leg jean. Think Sacai meets Rag & Bone’s Dre, or Nili Lotan’s Shon.
And Loro Piana’s sleeveless turtleneck? She’s perfect layered under the Sacai, under a blazer, or worn solo. Sleeveless turtlenecks always win.

Olive—she was born to be a cable knit, of the unmatched Ralph Lauren variety. She lives large as a fur-collared blazer—Nili Lotan. When she really steps into her main character energy? She’s an olive boucle skirtGucci, of course—paired with a sleek black cashmere and a pair of Saint Laurent sling backs. Done.

Deep mossy green? She rules the accessory game:
Patent T-strap pumps from Khaite, a Saint Laurent tote, Khaite cat-eyes—the cat’s meow—Dorsey drops and Paracord, and a Mui Mui fleece hat—all in her honor.

Loden suede? Even better. Gloves, bags, biker boots—no misstep, just moss.

Olive, stirred. Loden, stirred deeper.
She’s not shouting. But she’s winning.
