The Gift Guide

The Gift Guide | What We’re Serving

December—how did you creep in while I’m still mentally in flip-flops sipping an iced lavender matcha? Yet here we are—the season of gifting, wrapping, and last-minute “this will absolutely arrive by the 24th” optimism as I place my Amazon order on the 23rd…

My rule? Gifts should feel personal, deliberate, and a little luxe. Not clutter—curation.

So here’s what we’re serving this year: thoughtful finds, quiet indulgences, and a few pieces I’d happily buy for myself (and very well might).

Cozy Up
For the person who treats comfort like a personality trait (and don’t we just love them for that?), nothing delivers a cozier moment than a Barefoot Dreams robe—my day-one love since the E Street Denim era (may it rest in eternal peace). Add soft pajamas—Skims, if you’re feeling spicy—and slippers from Jenni Kayne or Apparis, and you’ve served peak hug-in-gift-form energy—seal it with a Rhode-colored kiss, optional.

And who doesn’t love a cashmere moment? Exactly—no one. The GOAT? Soft Goat, no ifs, ands, or buts about it—and goats do love a good butt... Soft Goat’s serving chic cashmere for everyone on your list. My pick? A griege crewneck—naturally.

Want to add a personal touch to the cozy mix? Look across the pond to Naetive Studio, whose bespoke mugs are absolute works of art. They’ll weave your pup, your cat, your emu, or whatever creature you hold dear into the ultimate morning companion. And honestly, what’s more personal than that? Wolfie? He gives it the Pomeranian Stamp of Approval, of course. And he? He’s filling his mug with Primal Bone Broth. Me? Pour me a mocha—with a hit of champs. ’Tis the season, after all.

Beauty Bites
Dip into the indulgent side of December: Byredo diffusers that double as décor, and Dr. Diamond’s Metacine if you want to win “Best Gift-Giver” by night one of Hanukkah. And Chanel’s elegantly packaged hand cream? An egg-cellent stocking stuffer—luxury in the palm of your hand.

Well, Shut Your Mouth
Looking to quiet the noise quite literally? The Skinny Confidential’s mouth tape is heaven-sent—and not a bad gift either. Lauryn’s dropping limited-edition colors this month. Navy, white, and pink—your hardest decision will be how many and which hue.

A Brush with Greatness
Looking to lock in a great gift? La Bonne Brosse’s emerald N.01 Universal Hair Brush is equal parts beautiful, indulgent, and unexpectedly practical. If only we were all so well-rounded. I’m confident I’m two out of the three—I’ll let you decide which two…

Freeze Frame
Aura’s digital frame is a gift that works for parents, kids, besties, even yourself. Load it with memories or let the cloud do the curating—every would-be influencer (no direct reference here…) gets their moment in the sun. Or, these days, the cloud…

A Little Bling
Looking to bring the bling? Ring Concierge’s framed oval lab diamond ring does the job beautifully—classic sparkle with a modern conscience. For the Francophile, Milestones by Ashleigh Bergman hits it out of le park with their Eiffel Tower charm—Paris in pendant form.

Table Talk
For the truly décor-obsessed? Nothing whispers quiet luxury like Baccarat. The Vega glass is divine—sculptural, iconic—and while she’d absolutely look down her stem at it, she’d even elevate a paper plate.
And the perfect beverage to pair her with? Veuve, bien sûr. Rosé optional… but preferred. Everything is better with bubbles.

For those not serving on paper plates—and frankly, if you are, eyebrow raise (or as close as Botox allows)—this probably isn’t the read for you. No shade… well, maybe a small parasol.
Serve on Ginori 1735 instead—Italian chic and craftsmanship at their finest. I’ve yet to meet a toile plate I didn’t covet.
And mother-of-pearl swan serving spoons? You know we love a good swan song here at CbC…

Wrap it, ribbon it, pour a glass, and call it a season—may your holidays be chic, a little cheeky, and curated to perfection.
