Classic Clover
Emerald, Edited
Classic Clover—fitting for St. Patrick’s Day.
But this March 17th, we’re pouring our Guinness with intent. No overflowing foam here.
We’re anchoring emerald with a neutral palette and keeping our clovers of the four-leaf variety and classy.
Green—I consider it a neutral—as much a part of my palette as black, ivory, chocolate, and grey. Yet, green is a horse of a different color. If black, ivory, chocolate, and grey dress my stable, green is the zebra.
The Discipline of Color
Full black palette head to toe?
Hell, yes.
Everyday.
A full green ensemble?
Hard stop.
Green is an accent. It needs grounding. Black and white keep green modern. Restraint is what makes the palette powerful.
This St. Patrick’s Day, don your green—but ground it in black and white.
