I sat with the idea of New Year’s Resolutions—take 10,000 steps, incorporate strength training, blah, blah blah—you know them well. None of them bad. Just—overdone and overlooked. And so I refocused the lens and pared it back—ruthlessly.
Instead of the list, I edited down to one word—distilled.
Distilled—my 2026 beacon—a measure all aspects of my life need to adhere to: relationships, business, fashion, skincare, wellness routines.

Daily.
Distilled is making fewer—but better—choices. Deciding what stays instead of merely adding more. Removing the clutter and the static until what’s left makes sense—stands on its own, speaks clearly.
Do I need 10 pairs of white jeans? No. The Khaite Callum—perfectly cut, impeccably rendered—does the work of the other 9… but better.
Now? When I look in my closet, I find her instantly. She elevates even the simplest of black cashmeres and ballet flats. No extra decisions required—I know she works every time.
Let’s hope I wield the shears as ruthlessly in all other aspects of my life, as well.
