Falling Into Fall with Arakii
Fall—I’m at the point where I can accept it’s here.
Because honestly, who doesn’t love fall? Farmers’ markets. Warm mugs of coffee. Cozy cashmeres. Leather jackets. Pumpkin-spice donuts. Jack-o’-lanterns. Halloween. Piles of brightly colored leaves. There’s nothing like fall. It just hits.
Ushering it in with under-the-radar brands like Arakii? Chef’s kiss.
The Stockholm-based brand, which I discovered on Stassi Schroeder’s feed and at Moda Operandi, is perfect for a summer-to-fall wardrobe transition. In the brand’s own words, the house “is pushing boundaries by combining exaggerated silhouettes with minimalistic essentials, but always with unique details.”
It is just that blend of uniqueness and exaggerated silhouettes, along with its warm color palette, that makes Arakii so right for fall.
Fall is all about layers and texture. Cropped wool blazers—like the Point and the Sora—are perfect for fall layering. Wear them over your favorite white tee and a longer denim short for cooler days and nights. Take a trench and wear it duster-style—belted in the back—over a tee or light cashmere.
Arakii’s current color story—taupes and chocolates—moves beautifully into autumn. I’m loving the Boxy Belt Jacket in taupe. Paired with the matching shorts? The perfect fall outfit, boots optional but recommended.
Don’t even get me started on their spiral skirts. How fun are they? Over the top for apple picking? Possibly… but I’m willing to sink my teeth into one anyway…
Fall—she’s just getting started, and so is Arakii…
