An Ode to 2025
‍
2025, you came courting strong—
with sequins and bling, and then things gone wrong.
‍
But in between, there were moments of light:
a graduation, Alaska—those felt right.
‍
Applications to college, jobs in the Loop.
Boys turning to men—D, G, B—the whole group.
‍
Dinners to reconnect, to finally slow down.
Walks with the Wolf through familiar ground.
‍
A website was born—tentative, winged,
one of the many that made the year 2025 sing.
‍
A year of fashion, upheaval, unrest—
and still, designers gave us some of their best.
‍
A year that was, it is true, a mix.
With hope in our hearts, we look to 2026.
‍
